Steve Anderson has been in the art business for twenty-five years, and has been an official Star Wars artist for Lucasfilm Licensing and some of their licensees for the past seventeen. Steve has created licensed artwork for all six Star Wars movies, the new animated Cartoon Network series Star Wars: The Clone Wars, and the four Indiana Jones movies. The artwork he does for Lucasfilm goes to Lucasfilm licensees for use on merchandise sold in over 100 countries.
Steve has also been the cover artist on numerous New York Times best-selling Star Wars books for Random House including the movie novelizations for Attack of the Clones andRevenge of the Sith. Others include Labyrinth of Evil, Shatterpoint, The Cestus Deception, Cloak of Deception, Jedi Trial, Yoda: Dark Rendezvous, Survivor's Quest, The Approaching Storm, Tatooinie Ghost, Traitor, Dark Journey, The Hive, A Forest Apart, A Practical Man, the The New Essential Guide to Alien Species, The New Essential Guide to Characters, The New Essential Guide to Droids, The New Essential Guide to Weapons and Technology, The New Essential Guide to Vehicles and Vessels and the movie novelization of the G.I. Joe movie G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra.
In addition, Steve has done large quantities of art for Hasbro games and puzzles related to licensed properties such as G.I. Joe, Indiana Jones, Pokemon, Lord of the Rings, Narnia, Spider Man, Star Wars, Clone Wars, Transformers, Jurassic Park, X-Men and others. He has worked for licensees of such studios as Disney-Pixar, Marvel, Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Studios and Universal Studios.
Steve is listed among the creators of Red 5 Comics, having created their logo as well as several of their cover title designs. He has also created illustrations for Battlestar Galactica, Serenity, and Stargate licensees.
Steve also does stand-in work and can be seen as an extra in movies and tv. He was the stand-in for Harrison Ford for two months for the film "Extraordinary Measures".
